A few shots from late March from miscellaneous areas around the city. From the top: Hambo’s (Notre Dame Avenue); Sungreen Food (Notre Dame Avenue); Hydro Substation (Logan Avenue); Independent Jewellers (Notre Dame Avenue); and Northgate Mall (McPhillips Street).
Logan Avenue. Another water main break—an all too common site this year. Can’t imagine Andy’s Corner sold too many ice-creams on this particular day.
Notre Dame Avenue.
A small collection of previously unedited photos from 2008 and 2009 of the North Central area—a cluster of neighborhoods consisting of West Alexander, Logan C.P.R., Pacific Industrial, and Weston. From the top: A look down Stanley Street; Independent Fish on Sherbrook; Adolescent Parent Centre on Cecil Street; and Best Way Realty & Insurance/Driving School Ltd. on Notre Dame.
The cold winter has seriously reduced my shooting over the last couple of months. I’ve become a drive-by shooter—literally shooting out the car window (while sitting in the passenger seat, of course) when the car comes to a stop. Not my favorite way to shoot, but it does provide a different perspective. I’ll take what I can get. Both of these photos—a trio of bungalows and Mid-West Sheet Metal—were taken on Logan Avenue.
McPhillips Street. “All you can eat” and “sushi” should never, under any circumstances appear in the same sentence.
