If you’re a regular visitor to this site, you might have noticed a spike in the number of Nutty Club shots, as well as others shot in the vicinity of Shaw Park. About a year ago, my office moved to the area, so I often find myself strolling the area during the lunch hour. There’s something about those Nutty Club buildings; I find them irresistible.

Until recently, I had not realized how unfriendly the St. Mary’s and Marion intersection is. It’s not reflected in these photos, but the intersection (can it even be called an intersection? I’m not sure.) is terrible—almost Portage and Main terrible. You can cross the street, but it’s a real pain, and you invariably have to walk quite a bit out of your way.

Pretty much every year I revisit photos from the past that I might have previously overlooked, and this year has been no different. Without all that much new material to edit during the tail end of the cold winter months, I’ve been digging through my old shots from 2015.
