The gorgeous McKim Court (River and Osborne, built 1911). As nice on the inside as it is the outside. For good measure, the bottom photo (Fude, Kawaii Crepe, etc.) is across the street and slightly south of McKim Court.
A couple of shots from River Avenue: The First Church of Christ Scientist (built 1910), finally converted into condo after several years of construction, and the cluster of condos and apartments farther up River towards Wellington Crescent.
Two of my favorite buildings in Osborne Village: McKim Court (aka Osborne River Block (Osborne Street, built 1909) and The Lonsdale (River Avenue). Both previously unedited photos from 2008.
Stradbrook Avenue. Do people actually use this station? I never see anybody there.
Osborne Village. Okay, I’ll admit it: The revamped Shopper’s Drug Mart in The Village came out better than I thought it would.
Burrito del Rio, River Avenue. Let Frida watch you as you stuff burritos down your face in Osborne Village (some of the tastiest burritos in the city, I should add).
A couple of looks at the corner of River and Osborne, including a couple of shots of Second Cup and one of Papa George’s. All photos are previously unedited photos from 2011.
