More from Sutherland Avenue—this time west of Main Street.
Pretty much every year I revisit photos from the past that I might have previously overlooked, and this year has been no different. Without all that much new material to edit during the tail end of the cold winter months, I’ve been digging through my old shots from 2015.
Usually I try to keep my posts on Winnipeg Love Hate neighborhood specific, but in an effort to catch of on posts, here’s a collection of geographically unrelated photos. For further reading on Ward’s Garage (photo #2), check out this in depth article on Winnipeg Downtown Places.
A lovely evening in St. Boniface and St. Vital. No interesting clouds to be found, but nice light nonetheless.
A few shots from the St. Boniface Industrial area.
A few shots from Jarvis Avenue. The first few are near Winnipeg Cold Storage (Jarvis at Salter), and the last one is down the road a bit, under the Arlington Bridge. From this angle, the iconic structure seems completely unrecognizable to me.
Some sunrise shots from the Logan C.P.R. area from back in January, mostly on Henry Avenue.
Here are a few shots from the east side of the city—east of the Red River, that is. First, Redi-Mart (Talbot Avenue); 347 Dupuy in Mission Industrial; and Acme Welding (Mission Street).
