Plinquet Street. Re-edits of a couple of shots from 2009.

Back from a brief hiatus away from the ice and snow. Today’s -7 feels downright tropical compared to the -35 when I left, so it’s good to be home.

Over the next while I’m going to be revisiting the archives, digging up some photos that have never been worked on (for one reason or another). I’m also going to be re-working some old shots that I always felt could have been processed better. In many cases, I think I might have gone a little crazy with the HDR.

Via Rail/Union Station

Via Rail/Union Station
Main Street (built 1909). Even sub-standard plastic party chairs, disgruntled government employees, and a poorly constructed snack bar can’t stop the Via Rail Station from being one of the most spectacular interior spaces in the city.

Note: I was once one of those disgruntled government employees, so I’m allowed to say that.
