A walk down Carlton Street. Heading from north to south, we first have the gorgeous Free Press Building (1912). Just past that, the not so gorgeous Portage Place (1987). Looking past Portage, we find Warehouse one (whose new sign is invisible from this angle), and the mighty Manitoba Hydro (2009). After crossing Portage, we look back and find The Air Canada Building (built 1985). And after walking further south, we pass under one of Downtown Winnipeg’s many covered walkways.
