A couple from The Village this afternoon.
Osborne Street (1909). There are lots of great stories/legends about this fine building–many of which are probably available online. The architect, it is said, was a little bit off his rocker when he designed the building, and the layout is very disorienting; apparently all the floor plates are different.
I’ve only been in one suite, and it was definitely a gem, with a lot of the original details still intact. Odd layout, though, with a hallway that conveniently doubled as a bowling alley. And the warping around the windows was atrocious.
