I believe this was taken the day the river ice trail was first opened to the public. It was actually a proud day for me, because it was one of those rare occasions where Winnipeggers actually embraced the winter.
We need more progressive ideas in this city as to how we can further embrace the cold.
Here’s one: heat lamps. And I mean everywhere. If Corydon were lined with heat lamps, the patio season could be extended by at least a couple of months.
